Almost 2026

2025 is slowly coming to an end. I will be working on the 24th, but I will have the 25th and 26th of December off work. I will have more time to get things done. Let's wrap up this year with mental satisfaction. I tuned up the pickup truck. Fanfuckingtastic! I replaced the spark plugs and the spark plug wires. For less than $200. Yes, I did it myself. A mechanic would have costed me $600 or $700 easily. Despite the bruising that I know will go away soon, everything turned out great. The truck is running like it is brand new. And, I am able to remotely start the truck now, using the fob.

I learned how to do it. First tap the door lock button, and then hold the remote start button on the fob for 4 seconds. Remember, when you get into the pickup truck, hold the brake down and put the key in and put it in the on position.  This feature is going to come in really handy during the very cold mornings when I am getting ready for work. I no longer have to walk downstairs and start the pickup truck and then walk back up the stairs and finish getting ready for work.

Just remember to turn on the heater before leaving the pickup truck in the evening time. So, obviously, when you remote start the pickup truck, the heater will kick on and start warming the cab while the engine is warming up. And of course, as you already know, by the time that you get into the truck to drive to work, the cab will be nice and toasty and warm. The pickup truck only stays running when you start a remotely, for 10 minutes. So, just make sure that you start the pickup truck in the morning, 10 minutes before you leave.

I will say that it is okay if the pickup truck turns back off again while you are still getting ready for work. Yes! Because the cab will have already warmed up and the engine too. And all you have to do is get into the pickup truck and start it normally. Job well done. Job well done indeed! I am very pleased with how the pickup truck is running now. Nice and smooth. It is purring like a cat. 100% satisfied.

As for the rest of today, after finishing changing out the spark plugs and spark plug wires in the pickup truck, I also washed my clothes and blankets and dressed the bed with the new bed sheets and clean blankets. Yes! The bed is ready to be slept in. Absofreakinlutely 👍😁

I wish I would have gotten more done. I wish I would have completed my tasks that I have in Google tasks. But, sleep is very important to me, and I did get plenty of sleep. Also, my legs were hurting and I was making excuses in my mind for not doing things. Yes, this is a form of procrastination whether you realize it or not. Yes, I am still working on my procrastination. I have tried many things, such as saying to myself, get up, start doing it, and you will continue doing it. But, I will say that most of the time, I do not even take my own advice.

There is always tomorrow, right? Yeah, the likely excuse. And then, I make plans to do it tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes. So to speak. But, I am using Google tasks more often now. And I have trust that sticking with the tasks will help me with my procrastination.  I learned a lot, from talking with chat GPT. The AI said, don't worry about the norm. Just do what feels right, and what feels right, becomes the norm. Awesome!
