I've Always Known

 I've always known the reason why people make animated videos of animals. It is true, that there are lots of animated videos of people talking. But, honestly, I've always known why people do make videos of just animals. Language! Yeah! That's right! Language. If no one in the video is speaking a certain language, then the video can be seen and understood by anyone in the world, by any language. And that is the reason. 

And despite the fact that I can see your point and I know why you do that, it does not mean that I am going to do that. I want my videos to have a language, and a storyline. Even if it means making different versions of the same video, but in different languages. That is what I will do. 

I enjoy watching my own videos. I enjoy watching my own creations. I would not enjoy watching them if it was just animals making animal sounds. To me, in my opinion, that is not a storyline. That is not a story. It is just animal noises. I want my videos to be exciting, interesting, marveled, and memorable. And I want it to be a series. 

Not quick and separate videos without a storyline. I'm going to be honest now. Right to the nitty gritty. I do not like millennials. They have a short attention span. The only do things because they absolutely have to. There is no passion or meaning. They lose attention of a video after 15 seconds. Imagine that? 15 seconds, and they've already wandered off in their mind and they are ready to move on to something else. Pathetic. They are, by far, without a doubt, the worst generation of people that have ever been on this Earth. And I despise them. I will not give in to their wants. I will not give in to making 15-second videos. I will not give in.

Kenny Kinesis

 I'm not quite sure how I'm going to start making videos about Kenny Kinesis. I have always imagined that Kenny is realistic. Not fantasy and not 3D style animation.

I have seen 3D style animation videos go viral. I have seen millions of views. But not my videos. And I don't know why. Now, if I believe what AI told me, then my 3D style videos look like they are more suitable for children. Despite the fact that there is some adult content in the videos. And of course, humor that only adults would understand. 

Okay, let me digress for a moment. Now that I think about it. These ridiculous slow motion or stop motion type videos that I've seen on YouTube that get millions of views, I really have no clue why they get millions of views. Slow motion or stop motion videos are pathetic. And I mean, absolutely pathetic. Honestly, I don't care how many views they get, I would not do that. I have too much pride in my work. 

So let this be a lesson learned. No, I'm not going to follow the status quo. I'm not going to make slow motion or stop motion type videos despite how many views they get. I am, however, going to make more realistic videos with the Kenny Kinesis series. I am going to make sure that my videos are not mistaken for children's videos. That I am certain of. Of course, I have to follow all the rules and guidelines that YouTube has laid out for YouTube video creators. 

And so, no violence towards other people, no bad words, just a G-rated storyline with some humor in it. And I just hope that my new realistic Kenny Kinesis series will not be mistaken for videos that are more suitable for children. Honestly, I thought that people would laugh and enjoy watching The Princess of Whispering Meadow videos. But I was wrong. Almost no likes it all. Despite the fact that there is consistent motion, talking, sound effects, bird singing in the background, people did not find it enjoyable to watch. And I am left scratching my head. 

I know that I'm going to look back at this journal entry someday and laugh.

Backup Alarms

 I am really getting tired of listening to backup alarms. I understand that backup alarms are important for safety, so that people will know when a company vehicle or heavy machinery is backing up. But, it seems most people have blocked the sound in their mind anyway. They don't hear it. It was just today, that a worker was standing outside of his company vehicle, talking to someone else, and he left the vehicle in reverse, with the brake lever pulled up, and the backup alarm is just going beep beep beep beep beep beep beep. Driving me crazy. 

What can I do about it? Well, there is nothing I can do about it except just get out of this industry. Get out of this dump truck. Do something else with my life that earns me a lot of money so that I can retire early. The problem is, that everything I try just fails. I have been making videos about a princess in a whispering meadow, doing funny things, and I thought that people would love it. But, they don't. And once again, I have failed. 

But, I'm not giving up. I will continue making videos based on what other people want. Not what I want! No! It has to be what other people want. It is absolute bullshit. But it is the harsh truth. I cannot make videos of what I want, and expect to earn money from that. No! I have to make videos of what other people want. So, with that said, I will search for what people want to see in a video, and I will do that bullshit.

I have been thinking about my wrists

 I know that is a strange title for a journal entry. But, it is true. I have been thinking a lot about my wrists. If you read my past journal entry about my wrists, then you will know that when I was just a child, I accidentally put my fist through a glass door and a shard of glass cut my arm open. I was rushed to the hospital to get stitches. 

Today, I forgot to grab my wristbands from home. And I came to work without them. Lucky for me, I am always prepared. I have some spare wristbands that I keep in my backpack. And I am wearing them now. I have not really found the right words to describe the feeling that I get from not wearing wristbands on my wrists, until right now. I will describe it to you. 

Do you know that feeling? When someone lightly touches a ticklish spot on your body? Yeah, that's what it feels like when the air touches my wrists. It is just a little bit ticklish. Not enough to make me laugh or squirm. It is just enough to irritate me. I end up rubbing my wrists against my shirt, on my chest or my stomach, just so that the feeling goes away. And then, of course, I start searching for wristbands. 

Because, if my wrists are covered with wristbands, then the air does not touch my wrists, and I do not feel that feeling of being lightly touched on a ticklish spot.  That is the best way that I can describe it. It is a very weird feeling. It does not hurt. It just feels like the air is lightly tickling the inside of my wrists. Then you may be wondering why I am talking about both of my wrists, when I only cut open my left arm and not my right arm, when I accidentally punched you through a glass door as a child. 

The truth is, it is psychological. It is very strange that my right wrist also has a lightly ticklish feeling on the inside of my wrist, when the air is touching it. But, that is what is happening, and I cannot do anything to change it. I do not think it makes me weak that I am giving into a psychological feeling. It just means that it is beyond my control.

Trying Something New

 For the past month I have been making animated videos. Recently, I decided to call the video series The Princess of Whispering Meadow. And I even created a YouTube channel dedicated to that video series. Everything is looking good. I have high hopes that this YouTube channel will be successful. I just have to keep on making the videos and uploading them to the channel.

I worked on that banner for 5 hours 

My first two videos are funny, humorous, and flagellant. But I'm thinking about changing it. People do not seem to enjoy the humor in my first two videos. And so, I will follow the status quo, and I will make them rescue videos. There will be an animal or a person in the meadow that needs to be rescued, and the princess will do her best to rescue them. No humor. Nothing funny. All serious. And then maybe people  that watch the videos, will enjoy the videos like that.
