Hiatus

I took a hiatus for a while. I never really realized that is what I was doing. Although, I did stop blogging, and I did not take very many notes. I did not work on my online business. In fact, I put a lot of things aside, and just stayed in hiatus for quite a while. But, I feel that I am coming out of the hiatus now. I am ready to refocus my efforts towards more blogging, notes, calendars, bookmarks, and of course the online business.

I will, of course, continue my physical efforts, like going to Planet Fitness to continue my workout, my physical healing, and to stop the pain.  Some people might consider my passion for blogging, notes, calendars, bookmarks and an online business is an obsession. It's no wonder I was in hiatus. But, and my mind, it is normal. I am doing what I enjoy doing. And even after I have blogged, and taken notes, and calendar, and journal, and bookmarks, then there is still consolidation and organization.

Now that I think about it again, it does seem like a bit of an obsession. It is strange to first take notes and journal, and then consolidate and organize after. But, that is what I enjoy doing. It keeps my mind straight, and keeps me satisfied. And so, I will continue to blog, journal, bookmark, calendar, and take notes, and consolidate and organize everything. Because that is what I enjoy doing.

5 out of 8 isn't bad

It's tune up time for the pickup truck. It is time to change out the spark plugs. It is an 8 cylinder engine, so I have 8 spark plugs to change. I managed to change 5 spark plugs, and then I ran out of daylight. I will continue tomorrow, when I have daylight again. I only have 3 more spark plugs to change. Tomorrow is another day.

Hmmmmm, looking at the old spark plugs, after taking them out of the engine, I will say that I am impressed. I thought that they would be burned out. But, as it turns out, the spark plugs that I took out of the engine are still in good condition. Everyone that has ever gave a vehicle a tune-up and changed out the spark plugs before, will already know that it is a guessing game. You need to buy the new spark plugs first, before taking the old ones out. Unless, of course, you have another vehicle that you can use to drive to the auto parts store to buy the spark plugs.

Well, I don't have another vehicle that I can use, so I had to buy the spark plugs in advance and then take the old ones out. And as I said already, the old spark plugs are still in good condition. But, since I already had the new spark plugs, I am changing them out anyway.  I'm not really good at knowing how much more life that the old spark plugs have left before they need to be changed out. So, I made the decision to change them out anyway.

Changing out the spark plugs that are towards the front of the engine, are relatively easy to do. It is the spark plugs towards the back of the engine that are the most challenging. It took me a couple of hours just to change out 2 spark plugs that were in the back of the engine. They are very hard to get to, and I have the bruises on my arms to prove it. But I'm not worried about that, the bruises will go away soon. And hopefully, when the tune-up is finished, the pickup truck will run smooth for many years to come.
